Resistor, established in 1972 near Milan, and specialized in the
engineering and manufacturing of Heater Elements for industrial
application, in 1982 expanded its activity with the design and
manufacture of Diesel Glow Plugs.

Resistor was one of the frst companies in the feld to obtain the
ISO Quality Certifcation.
Today, Resistor is certifed under the UNI EN ISO 9001(since
2000) and the ISO/TS 16949 quality standards (since 2009).

With a range including about 260 different models, Resistor
covers the whole requests of the automotive sector. The
lines dedicated to the manufacture of diesel glow plugs are
managed by an effcient programming and planning system and
constructed in accordance with the feld state of the art. The
extremely strict incoming goods inspection procedures, the over
70 tests foreseen in the control plans, and the strict application
of statistical SPC and MSA techniques assure an excellent quality
and less than 10 ppm product non-conformity.
